Why Should I Minor in Women's Studies?

The women's studies minor at Seton Hall University is an excellent complement to any major, strengthening students' academic and professional preparation for careers in a marketplace where understanding of gender is increasingly valuable. Preparation for professions such as law, medicine, education, as well as in the corporate world is greatly enhanced by a deep analytical understanding of women's changing roles and contributions in the wider culture. Students who explore the disciplines through the gender lens are better prepared to understand the complexity of balancing the vocations of work and family in an increasingly competitive world.
