Using Computer Technology
to Transform How You Teach
Specific Ways to Use
Blackboard and E-mail to enhance or change the way you teach.
Using the Internet for Research. We can no longer pretend that quality
research cannot be done on the web. But we have the responsibility to help
our students evaluate websites. Here are some terrific links to help you
with this very task:

Plagiarism Site
Seton Hall has obtained a licensing agreement for us to use the plagiarism
website Turnitin.com to check any student work that we think may have been
plagiarized. It gives you a full report on the extent of the plagiarism
and the websites that may be the source of the plagiarism. To use this
service, you will need to create an account at http://www.turnitin.com, and then
join the Seton Hall University account. You will need to e-mail Danielle Salomone Mirliss at
mirlisda.edu
or 6021 to obtain the account information.
