The success of the Health Professions Program is based on the careful recruitment of students and the consistent mentoring of these candidates during the four years of study at SHU. A partnership is built between the student and the Health Professions Committee to establish an attractive profile that the admissions committees of health professional schools are looking for: strong academic record, competitive scores on entrance exams (such as the MCAT, DAT, GRE, OAT) and demonstration of commitment to the profession through volunteer/paid experiences in clinical settings.
