STUDENT INVOLVEMENT IN THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS PROGRAM
ALPHA EPSILON DELTA
Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national pre-medical honor society, informs pre-health professional students about academic requirements and regulations, alternative health-related careers, required and elective courses for students, and the application procedure for professional schools. The society informs members through meetings, invited speakers and visits to health centers. A banquet takes place after the Stanley S. Bergen, M.D. Award to an outstanding medical educator.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Since the mid-‘50 the Woman’s Guild of Seton Hall University has raised funds for scholarships for health professions students. For the top ranking pre-medical senior student, the DeNoto scholarship is available.
