The Italian Studies Program offers Seton Hall University
students a unique opportunity to explore the rich and
stimulating culture of Italy, while preparing for a variety of
careers in the global marketplace. Students will have the
chance to participate in the Joseph M. and Geraldine C. La Motta
Chair Italian Studies lecture series, which brings to campus
speakers from around the country and from Italy. The
Valente Family Italian Studies Library has one of the nation's
best collections of books on Italian history and culture.
The Charles and Joan Alberto Italian Studies Institute
coordinates programs with other schools and colleges (diplomacy,
business, and law) at Seton Hall and sponsors annual conferences
on topics in Italian and Italian American studies. The
Italian Studies Program also sponsors several scholarships and
prizes.
