Access Med Program

The Access Med program is based on an affiliation between Seton Hall University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  Selected students begin taking first- year medical courses in their senior year and receive credit towards both the Seton Hall Bachelor of Science degree and a M.D. at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Access Med program offers a Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) preparation course for selected junior-level students from the Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus program.  This intense seven month, weekend preparation class offers diagnostic and review sessions as well as several simulations of the MCAT examination.  Students admitted to this phase of the Access Med program can achieve superior results on the MCAT exam.
