The Russian and East European Studies Program brings together faculty and  students from a variety of  fields to pursue a common interest in the cultures, history, languages & political institutions of East - Central Europe and the successor states to the USSR.  Through our certificate program,  we aim to provide rigorous and comprehensive liberal arts training, preparing students for continuing engagement with Russia & Eastern Europe throughout their careers. In addition, we serve as a cultural resource by sponsoring field trips, symposia, films and many other events.  The Russian and East European Studies Program welcomes anyone who is interested in participating in all its activities.
