Russian and East European Studies Program
(REESP)
The Russian and East European Studies Program brings together faculty and students from a variety of fields to pursue a common interest in the cultures, history, languages and political institutions of East Central European and the successor states to the USSR. Through our Certificate Program, we aim to provide a rigorous and comprehensive liberal arts training, preparing our students for continuing engagement with Russia and Eastern Europe throughout their careers. In addition, we serve as a cultural resource by sponsoring field trips, symposia, lectures, films and other events.
